Town's random Joker machine
Far Far West Gamba Machine Guide
Find the machine, spend 250 Souls for a random Joker, and decide whether a random card helps your build more than a direct purchase.
Gamba Machine: Location and Cost
In Town, near the Spell Hut. Each spin costs 250 Souls and awards a random Joker. Check the shops first if you want a named Joker; the machine gives a random result.
Look for a small wooden cart with purple lights and a glowing pink dice sign.
Pay in Souls; the machine's prompt does not charge Gold or Blueprints.
Jokers acquired in Town stay in your collection unless you sell them.
How to Find and Use the Gamba Machine
Visit it in the hub between missions. Identify the machine by its dice sign and confirm the price on its interaction prompt.
Step 1
Go to the Spell Hut area in Town and find a small wooden cart with purple lights and a glowing pink dice sign.
Step 2
Approach the cart and read its odds board. Confirm that the prompt offers a random Joker for 250 Souls, then use your interaction key to spin.
Step 3
Inspect the result's effect, eligible hero or weapons, and slot cost. Choose whether to keep it or take the displayed sale offer; decide before paying for another spin.
Step 4
Equip a Town Joker on your hero or an eligible weapon before the mission for its effect to work.

What Happens to the Joker You Win?
Keep it across missions
Jokers acquired in Town stay in your collection unless you sell them. That makes a useful roll part of your Town loadout rather than a temporary mission pickup.
Equip it before departure
Equip a Town Joker on your hero or an eligible weapon before the mission for its effect to work. Owning a card is separate from fitting it into your available Joker Slots.
Check the card's acquisition route
Some Jokers are only available during missions, so the machine is not a route to every card. Check how your target is obtained before committing Souls to repeated rolls.
Is the Gamba Machine Worth It?
Use it when several different results could improve your collection. A specific build goal makes a direct purchase easier to budget.
Buy the card you need when available
Check Dr. Spark-Twist's Lab for hero Jokers and the Gunsmith for weapon Jokers. Compare the displayed price with your budget; a spin cannot promise that particular card.
Set a budget for random upgrades
If you would use several possible results, set aside Souls for a few rolls. For example, 1,000 Souls pays for 4 spins before any sale proceeds. Stop when that budget is spent.
Treat a sale as a separate decision
Read the sale offer for an unwanted result. Selling removes that card from your collection and does not undo the spin; do not budget as though every unwanted roll refunds its full cost.
Gamba Machine Changes in 0.3.0.0
The October 22, 2026 update added two conveniences for using the machine.
Sell straight after a roll
You can sell the Joker directly after gambling it. Review its effect and sale offer before giving it up.
Faster repeat rolls
The update speeds up rolls when you gamble more than once every 30 seconds. This is an animation change; it does not establish a higher reward chance.
